beauty and the splendour of the South East. The tour kicks off from Melbourne
and finishes at the Gold Coast,
taking along on a journey and adventure that you will cherish for years to

DAY 1
Melbourne – Free day in the metropolis
of Victoria, a city full of culture, great food and art. Melbourne is a city full of unique and
memorable things to do that you will find something for all age groups.
DAY 2 - Great Ocean Road
No
visit to Melbourne is complete without a visit along the scenic Great Ocean
Road. The tour starts at 8 a.m. in the
morning and you complete it at 9 p.m., thoroughly exhilarated and
knackered. Starting at Splits Point
Lighthouse, its red cap visible from miles away, you can see the breathtaking
view of the city from the top. Even today, she still shines her guiding light
every evening to keep the ships passing to and from Port Phillip Bay, away from
the rocky shores.
Memorial Arch – A tribute to the
servicemen of the First World War who built the Great Ocean Road.
Kennett River – A well known local
surfing point, it is also a great place to watch koalas, native birds like king
parrots, rosellas and kookaburras, seals, dolphins, and if it is your lucky
day, you will even see some whales.
Apollo Bay – The perfect base to
explore the Great Ocean Road and the Otways Rainforest. The forest is home to Australia’s famous
wildlife like kangaroos, echidnas, duck-billed platypus, koalas, glowworms,
penguins and the migrating whales.
The 12 Apostles – View the beauty of
nature’s creation by erosion-12 rock stacks standing isolated on the shore.
Perfect time to enjoy their beauty is at sunrise and sunset as you can see them
change colour from dark and foreboding at dusk to a brilliant yellow under the
rays of the morning sun.
Loch Ard Gorge - Natural beauty,
coastal wilderness and maritime history, there is only one name for it, Loch
Ard Gorge.
London Bridge and Colac – A naturally
formed arch, it is also known as the London Arch, and a major tourist
attraction.
DAY 3 - Phillip Island – Puffing Billy
Still
mesmerised by the scenic journey of the previous day, you are ready to take on
this day at 8:30, another long and adventurous day that will see you hitting
your bed after 10:00 p.m.
Puffing Billy steam train– A historic
train ride that should not be missed. You can ride the train either in the
morning or at sunset.
The Maru Koala and Animal Park – An
award winning attraction, it includes an animal park that has koalas and other
Australian animals. Pirate Pete’s mini
golf club allows you to play golf your way around the Princess Caribbean Pirate
Ship.
Nobbies Wildlife Reserve – The home to
Australia’s largest Fur Seal Colony, it is also a great place to natural sea
bird gardens. During spring and early
summer, silver gulls nest and chick here.
The Penguin Parade – The visit to
Phillip Island is incomplete without The Penguin Parade, Australia’s most
popular tourist attraction. Be amazed by the sight of little penguins returning
to the shore in the evening after a long day spent fishing.
Another
fruitful and enjoyable day ends.
DAY 4
Starting
at 9:00 am today, you will probably finish by 6.00 pm after having visited and
enjoyed a selection of architectural, natural, historical, cultural and unique
sites that will just awe you with their beauty.
Parliament House - The Parliament House
is open throughout the year and is a landmark you must visit in Melbourne.
Princess Theatre - Visible from
Parliament House, this iconic theatre is the oldest continuous entertainment
venue and considered as the most spectacular landmark of the city.
St Patrick's Cathedral - A leading
example of Gothic revival, the Cathedral is built from bluestone and sandstone.
A picturesque venue for all the selfies you want to click.
Queen Victoria Market – Affectionately
known as the “Queen Vic” this market has been the soul of Melbourne for over a
century. Ideal for bargain hunters, it is the largest open-air market in the
Southern Hemisphere. Simply wander around the stalls selling fresh produce and
absorb the electrifying atmosphere.
Eureka Sky deck 88 – Go to the top of
the highest public vantage point in the Southern Hemisphere for that
awe-inspiring view of Melbourne.
Melbourne Cricket Ground -Commonly
known as “The G”, it is the home of Australian Sport. It is the birthplace of
test cricket and one-day international cricket.
The Shrine of Remembrance – Currently a
memorial to all the Australians who served in the war, it was originally built
as a memorial to all the men and women who served in the First World War.
St Kilda – Melbourne’s popular beach
site suburb, you can join hundreds of locals who walk, ride, skate, cycle,
sail, kite surf and windsurf here. Whether you want to chillax on the beach
with a drink or you want to go all giddy at the Luna Park this is the perfect
place for you.
Brighton bathing boxes – Built in the 19th
century, they have maintained their classic Victorian architectural features
with timber framing, weatherboards and corrugated iron roofs. A perfect place
for taking photographs.
DAY 5
Leave
for Canberra at around 8:00 am and reach by 18:00 hours with a lunch break
between 12:30 - 1:30 Pm. Stay overnight
in the capital city of Ozland.
DAY 6
Early
we leave for Sydney at 05:00 hours. Enroute, you will pass:
Australian War Memorial – A shrine, an
excellent museum and an archive, this historical monument commemorates the
lives of the Australians who died in the war.
Parliament of Australia – A visit to
the Parliament House is a great way to experience Australia’s finest iconic
building.
National Gallery of Australia - The
largest as well as the national art museum of Australia, it is the home of over
166,000 works of art. Feast your eyes on
the colourful masterpieces, each one unique in its own way.
You
will arrive in Sydney at about 8:30 pm where you will spend the night dreaming
about the visions you have witnessed on the day.
DAY 7 - Blue Mountain
A
place of beauty, peace and tranquillity, lose yourself in the lush freshness of
the Eucalyptus forest. Explore the beautiful waterfalls, valleys and rugged
sandstone tablelands, and get an insight into the world of the Aborigines. A
treasure trove indeed, that will make you nostalgic that the day is over.
DAY 8 - Sydney City Tour
Rise
and shine to the skyline to Sydney and start your day at 9.00 a.m., absorbing
this beautiful city. Your day will get you to places like Sydney Tower, The
Royal Botanic Gardens, Circular Quay and the all important must visit Sydney
Opera House.
Finish
your day with a cruise on Sydney Harbour and watch the sunset on this beautiful
skyline. All too soon, your fun-filled day will end at 6pm.
DAY 9
All
aboard at 8.00 a.m. for the journey to
the Gold Coast, a place very near to
Brisbane. At 12:30, there will be a
lunch break for half an hour after which we continue our journey, reaching Gold
Coast at 22:00 hours, in readiness for bed.
DAY 10 – White Water World
Whether
is a relaxing time in a luxurious cabana, or the thrilling nerve-wracking ride
of the Triple Vortex, you can have it all here at the White Water World. From 8:30 am to 6 pm, enjoy the unlimited
peace and the thrill of this wonderful park, making memories that you will
cherish for years to come.
DAY 11 - Movie World
A
day that will start at 8:30 a.m., it is yet again full of thrills and adventure
rides for the whole family. All too soon, your day and your tour are now over.
DAY 12
Reminisce
on the last few days as you drive to the airport, taking with you moments and
memories of the most wonderful 12 days of your life.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE NOTE
The
above costs are inclusive of everything – diesel, tour bus, tour
manager/driver, food, toll and parking charges, baggage trailer and public
liability insurance.
In
the event your coach is returning to Melbourne without any passengers, there
will be an extra surcharge of 700AUD for the 14 seaters and 1200AUD for the 25
seaters.
Asia
Travels will arrange the accommodation of the Tour Manager.
As
November is the peak tourist season for Australia, confirm your booking at
least 45 days in advance. For first time bookings, please book your tour in
advance with confirmed dates and a 20% deposit as a booking fee. You will get a
50% refund if you cancel or postpone your booking 15 days prior to departure.
If you cancel outside this period, then you will not get a refund. There is no
advance fee for ongoing tours.
